The Cannes Stunner!

Moran Atias may not be so widely known in America–YET– but she’s definitely known in her native country of Israel…even though she no longer lives there!

The stunning beauty, who was born in Haifa, started tv appearances at 15 and began modeling at 17. Her modeling led her to Italy, where she was discovered for many other talents and decided to stay there. Her Italian is quite fluent now, as is her English (I know because I had the privilege of interviewing her for a model story I wrote for Israel21c. It was later republished in The Jerusalem Post.) She was so lovely and down-to-earth on the phone that I knew from then on I would only describe her in the best of circumstances.)

She is an international model, TV show hostess, film actress, and radio personality.

The reason I’m bringing her up on this fashion blog, though, is because she’s a sweetheart. It’s because she looked simply stunning, style wise, at this year’s 62nd Annual Cannes Film Festival!

Moran has been a face to watch at the international festival for a few years now.

And this year, she looked better then ever!

I love the dark blue of this satin minidress, the way the bottom hem bubbles just a bit, the clutch, and the ultra-chic gladiator sandals!

Moran sure knows what looks good on her! The deep pink is to die for, the dress clings and flows in just the right places, and I love her tied-back hair. She’s wearing Chopard jewelry of course (in a beautiful jade green.) Simply elegant!

Though white is not a fave of mine, one of the best things I love about Moran’s style is that she always finds something that fits her petite frame just right. I love the form fitting strapless bustier that flows out into sort of a tiered mermaid fishtail. Quite extraordinary.

I’d pick Ms. Atias over Bar Refaeli any day!
